Cancer Treatment at Animal Medical Center

The statistics are overwhelming. One in 3 dogs of any age will get cancer and nearly 6 million cats will be diagnosed with cancer this year. 50% of dogs over 10 years old will be affected by some tumor. Cancer is the number one cause of canine death.

When detected early, cancer in dogs and cats is usually treatable. While surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy may be recommended for the treatment of cancer, animals differ from humans, with fewer side effects.

Animal Medical Center is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for pets living with cancer. Our doctors, who have a special interest in cancer cases, are here to provide reassurance, compassion and offer treatment in an empathetic environment. Veterinary oncology has made advances offering options for treatments.
